Offshore Vessel Management

Overview

The first step of the Company into the offshore sector was in the mid-nineties with the manning contract of some Saudi Aramco utility vessels operating in the Saudi Aramco concessional areas in the Arabian Gulf.

The next few years saw rapid increase in the offshore activity with the operation terminal tugs for Saudi Aramco tanker terminals at most of the Saudi Ports of the Red Sea.

The growth in the offshore sector saw the induction of a variety of vessels, Utility vessels, crew boats, Security vessels, terminal tugs, Security vessels and many of them into long term charters with Saudi Aramco.

The Company gained valuable experience in the operation of a diverse ships with differing modes of propulsion and operations and fought through the challenges of being able to man and operate a large offshore fleet.
